Coronavirus: Ghanaian defender Samuel Sarfo calls for prayers

Ghanaian defender Samuel Sarfo has urged every individual to pray onto his or her marker to intervene in the world's fight against deadly coronavirus.

The Al Khaleej defender believes the whole word praying can help curb the disease which has claimed so many lives including three in Ghana.

As of March 25, over 400,000 cases have been recorded with over 19,000 deaths globally. In Ghana, the confirmed cases are 68.

“Let’s Pray for Ghana and the entire world against this Pandemic,” Sarfo said.

The disease has forced the suspension of many sporting activities including the Saudi Professional League which Sarfo features in.

He has netted five league goals this season despite operating as a centre-back.
