Ghanaian striker Patrick Twumasi is confident the coronavirus pandemic will soon be over and that everything will be back to normal including football.

The coronavirus has affected almost all football competitions in the world as most leagues have been suspended in a bid to control the spread of the deadly virus.

Twumasi is one of many footballers to have been affected by the outbreak of the virus after domestic football in Turkey came to a halt.

“Everyone in the World currently is hoping this thing ends. This is very difficult times for every individual in the World,” he spoke to Ghanasportsonline.com.

“Everything has been halted at the moment and it is very worrying but I am very confident it is going to end soon.

“As you can see health professionals and scientist are trying to find a vaccine for this pandemic and I know very soon it will all end for everyone to resume work and other engagements.”

The Gaziantep FK forward was the second-highest scorer for his side with five goals before the Turkish Super Lig was put on hold due to the outbreak of the virus.
