COVID 19: GARFA Chairman advises clubs to adhere to safety measures

Chairman of the Greater Accra Regional Football Association, Samuel Aboabire has advised clubs from the Division Two, Three and Colts to adhere to all precautionary measures to help curb the spread of COVID-19. 

Ghana has recorded 27 cases with two deaths in just two weeks after just the first two cases was detected.

This led to the suspension of all sporting activities including the lower leagues. However some clubs continue to train which is contrary to safety measures.

"Don't forget to wash your hands and use hands sanitizers," he told Yonkopa FM.

"There are a lot of videos and information going round, even when you are making calls it tells you so people should take it serious," he added.

The Ghana Football Association has shut down it offices following the increasing cases of the COVID-19.
