German-born Ghanaian attacker Braydon Manu has opened up about he celebrated his 23rd birthday at home amid coronavirus restrictions.
Manu, who plays for Bundesliga II side Darmstadt 98, turned 23 on Saturday, March 28.
Germany in a bid curb the spread of the virus introduced strict measures including a nationwide lockdown for three weeks.
The lockdown forced Manu to celebrate his birthday without his adored family, however, his girlfriend was at home to keep him company.
He told Darmstadt website; "Celebrating with my girlfriend at home. Mom and co. singing happy birthday on the phone and that's enough for me. I'm not the extreme party guy. Even if you might think so because of my kind."
