With his official presentation complete, the FC guys discuss how far Cristiano Ronaldo can take Juventus domestically and in European competition.

Juventus' Cristiano Ronaldo admitted he joined the Italian club as he wanted to challenge himself again and insists he win just as many trophies in Italy.

After he is unveiled as a Juventus player following his move from Real Madrid, ESPN takes a look at how Cristiano Ronaldo's move to Turin unfolded.

Cristiano Ronaldo's mother, Maria Dolores Aveiro, said she is delighted with her son's decision to join Juventus and denied reports she favoured a move back to Manchester United.

Ronaldo, who was introduced by Juventus on Monday, was heavily linked to a move back to United after Real Madrid won the Champions League final, and it was reported Aveiro said she wanted Ronaldo to play at Old Trafford again if he were to leave Madrid.

However, Aveiro told reporters after her son's presentation that she did not want him to return to the club he left in 2009 after six seasons.

"It's a lie that I wanted him to return to Manchester United," she said. "It's not true.

"I'm very happy with his choice. It's a very happy day for all of us. My son will make Juve even bigger. This is a new adventure and a new life. He enjoyed it at Real Madrid but he needed other challenges."

Ronaldo ended his nine-year spell at Madrid amid a reported rift with club president Florentino Perez and signed a four-year contract with Juve.

After the event, Aveiro posted a photo on her Instagram account of her family from inside the Allianz Stadium and expressed her admiration for her son's decision.

"I'm so proud of being by your side at such an important time in your life," she wrote. "Thank you."
