Ghana striker Jordan Ayew has made history by becoming the first person to to score home and away league goals against Arsenal in 45 years after scoring in Saturday's English Premier League match.

The Crystal Palace attacker also made another history by becoming the first player from the club to score home and away against Arsenal in a single.

The son of Ghana legend Abedi Pele grabbed the equaliser for Palace after Arsenal had taken the lead in the Premier League match played at Selhurst Park

Arsenal fail to deal with a free-kick and were punished as the busy Cheikhou Kouyate found Ayew whose shot deflected off David Luiz and ballooned over Bernd Leno into the net.

Ayew has now scored home and away against Arsenal in the Premier League this season even though the huge deflection to helped him to get the goal.

He became the the first Crystal Palace player to score home and away league goals against Arsenal in a season since John Craven in 1971-72 league season.

Ayew also made some history for his club as he is the first Crystal Palace player to score home and away against Arsenal in a single Premier League season.
