Father of Asante Kotoko midfielder Daniel Nii Adjei has been found after going missing for almost a week.

Adjei’s father (name withheld) who left home on Thursday was said to have been found in Ejisu, an outskirt of Kumasi in a weakened state.

He was later taken to hospital where his nephew Emmanuel Nkrumah says he has been improving after receiving proper medical care.

“We found him very weak and we took him to the hospital and thankfully he is getting better,” Nkrumah told Takoradi-based Melody FM.

“He was sitting behind someone’s door in Ejisu and the person said he didn’t know what to do with him.

“He is not able to tell us how he got there but we are happy he is back home now.”

Nii Adjei who played a key role in Kotoko’s 2-1 win over arch rivals Hearts of Oak on Sunday knowing his dad is missing is yet to comment on the matter.
