Defender Daniel Coleman insists he will sign for Premier League club Mighty Jets.

The ex Hearts of Oak player has been undergone pre-season training with the Tudu-based club and says he is set to sign a professsional deal with the side.

"I have been training with Mighty Jets for sometime now upon the request of the club President," he told Kumasi-based Angel FM.

"Why wouldn't they (Mighty Jets) sign me? I have played there before and they advised me to go for my floating status.

"Therefore I am now a free player but will sign for Mighty Jets once we conclude negotiations."

The hard-tackling defender debunked talks of him being to old to engage in active football.

"Ghanaians talk too much, even Seedorf is playing actively so why not me?

"Trust me if I am too old to play, I'd quit to avoid any embarrassment from any small boy but at present I know I can play," he added.

Coleman featured for RTU in the last Premier League campaign and would be best remembered for his expert chaperoning of then Asante Kotoko striker Eric Bekoe while at Hearts of Oak.
