Former Hearts of Oak defender Dan Quaye says he is proud to have helped the club to win the CAF Champions League in 2000.

Quaye was versatile at the back and could play at both sides as a wing back and also as centre-back.

Fourteen years down the line, Quaye says it was an honour to be part of the all-conquering winning side.

“2000 was an extra-ordinary moment and we were all like family,” Quaye told GHANASoccernet.com.

“I am very happy and feel lucky that I was part of the team. It was like a family.”
