Budding Danbort FC defender Emmanuel Ohene picked his third Man-of-the-Match accolade in Week 9 of the ongoing Division One League following his swashbuckling performance against Tema Youth FC in midweek.

Danbort FC played above their usual level to put Tema Youth to the sword in a Zone Three clash at the Nungua Presby Park.

The action packed game saw Tema Youth scoring a second half goal against the run of play after defenders of Danbort lost concentration.

Danbort left-back Emmanuel Ohene, who was a thorn in the flesh of the visitors with his marauding runs, pin-point crosses and compact defending, glittered throughout the crunch encounter.

The highly-rated 17-year-old’s enterprising performance in the game did not go unnoticed as he was named best player.

Ohene has been very instrumental so far for the Nungua-based side, having won the Man of the match award twice already.

He was adjudged the Most Valuable Player after displaying a carbon-copy of today’s performance against Vision FC some weeks ago.

Ohene, nickname “Marcelo” is warming himself into greatness after an equally brilliant performance last season that was abruptly ended due to the deadly covid -19.
