Togbe Afede has made funds available for Hearts

David Duncan will pay no attention to ‘price tags’ when he looks to strengthen the squad with a bumper transfer fund this window.

Hearts are determined to improve the side ahead of next season to mount a sustained assault on the Premier League title and have been linked with a number of high profile players.

Hearts chief Togbe Afede XIV has made funds available to coach Duncan to make new signing ahead of the start of the season in September.

Hearts can now compete in the transfer market and challenge arch-rivals Kotoko for top notch players.

The Accra-based have targeted eight players including Medeama midfielder Sampson Cudjoe, goalkeeper Foli Adade, New Edubiase duo Asiedu Atobrah and Abeiku Ainooson as well as Ashantigold’s David Telfer.

The 2000 African champions are yet to land their targeted players but are confident of making signings that will improve the squad.
