Bankroller of New Edubiase David Lamptey has promised to transform the club into becoming giants on the continent.

The Bekwai-based side negotiated their qualification to finals of this year’s MTN FA cup at the expense of relegated Wassaman United last weekend despite missing five key players.

Edubiase is now in a good position to cap an incredible season in the Ghanaian top flight by winning their first ever silverware against Ashantigold in Sunday’s finals.

Club officials have confirmed their readiness to play in the Caf Confederation Cup next year if they manage to achieve the feat.

The Chief Executive of Sidalco Ghana Limited is not relenting in his effort to make the club giants on the African continent.

“There is something special about Edubiase and that is why I continue to support them in anyway that I can,” Lamptey said

“I have been part of this team since it started and I believe we can go places in the next couple of years,”

“We want to make the club one of the finest in Ghana  and surprise many people on the African continent,”

“I believe with God all things are possible and so we’re working towards that.”

Lamptey has offered tremendous financial support to the club which saw them miss the top four by a whisker last season.

He has promised the players of a bumper financial reward if they beat the miners to clinch the title.
