Sunderland manager David Moyes may be forced into making an emergency move for a striker this January after Victor Anichebe was ruled out for three months. The forward ruptured his medial ligament during Saturday's 2-0 defeat to his former club West Brom and is now set to miss most of the remainder of the season.
