Manchester City midfielder Kevin de Bruyne is targeting a return to full training within five weeks and says his recovery is going 'to plan'.
The 24-year old has impressed for City this season and remains the sides second leading goalscorer, with 12 in all competitions, behind Sergio Aguero. De Bruyne suffered a knee injury against Everton on January 27th and it was clear he would be sidelined for a significant period of time. However, the midfielder appears to be targeting a return sooner rather later, 'I've already been working cautiously for four weeks now...Now the brace is off, the real work is about to begin. I hope to be back training with the squad in five weeks, after the international break at the end of March' he said.
