Veteran trainer Herbert Addo has denied reports of reaching an agreement with Hearts of Oak to become their new head coach.

The former Inter Allies coach is the favourite to fill the vacant coaching role at the capital club for the upcoming season.

Hearts are in the market looking for a new coach after deciding against renewing the contract of their former club legend Mohammed Polo.

Addo says reports of a finalized deal are wide off the mark.

“I am surprised at this news of me signing a four year or five year deal,” he reveled to GHANASoccenet.com

“I am not aware of it and I can confirm to you that I have not signed a deal with anybody yet.”

Addo had a remarkable season where he managed to escape relegation with Inter Allies who were at the bottom of the table after the first round of the league.
