Defender Edward Kpodo has been ruled out of Berekum Chelsea’s Caf Champions League against Zamalek on Saturday.

The strong centre -back picked a knock at training on Friday and has failed to recover in time for the crucial game.

The Ghanaians must beat the Egyptian giants at the Cairo Military Stadium to enhance their prospect of qualifying to the semi-finals.

They trail second-placed TP Mazembe by two points meaning victories against Zamalek and TP Mazembe will ensure their dream passage to the last four.
