Defender Seth Owusu says he’s enjoying his time at local giants Hearts of Oak.

Owusu has hit the ground running since he joined the Phobians from Medeama in the off-season.

Hearts wrapped up their pre-season activities at Sekondi with a 3-0 win over second-tier side Metro Stars and the 21-year-old is thrilled with the kind of progress made.

“I’m happy in the team. I am very happy to be with Hearts of Oak and how the coach is going about his work,” Owusu told 90 Minutes newspaper

“We are fit, we are strong and I know we are going to be ready for the league.

“ Camping has been good and the coach’s training methods are also effective so I’m hopeful things will go well for us this season.

“As I’m speaking to you, we’ll play a match against Dwarfs on Sunday. That’s all pre-season and we have been playing a lot of matches since we came here, about five matches.

We hope that will be enough for us so even without the Top 4, we’ll still be okay for the league.”

Hearts are desirous of reclaiming the the title from rivals Kotoko.
