Di Canio: Where Inter Milan coach Inzaghi falls short of Conte

Published on: 07 November 2022

Paolo di Canio has criticised Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi after defeat to Juventus.

Juve won 2-0 on Sunday to put Inter's title chances in danger.

Di Canio said, “I love him, but Inzaghi has low-level communication. He has rightly earned himself to be there, but in two years of Inter he hasn't improved communication.

"You have to talk about the fact that you had the chances and you have to understand why you didn't score, you can't talk about the calendar or anything.

"Simone is very good, he builds the idea of football, of controlling the game.

"(Antonio) Conte indoctrinates the players, I'm sure that (Nicolo) Barella would have fouled him on the occasion of (Adrien) Rabiot's goal. You have to talk about the mistakes, why you go under, why you are fragile.

"The values of Inter have not been for five defeats in thirteen games."
