Udinese captain Antonio Di Natale believes in Kwadwo Asamoah Juventus have got something extra to be favourites for this season’s Serie-A title.

The Ghana international secured his dream move to join the Old Lady last month on a three-year deal reportedly worth US$11m.

Asamoah’s ability to pick the right pick pass combined with a bit of trickery is seen by many as an added trump card for the Bianconeri as they aim to defend their Scudetto crown.

And the experienced hitman, an immediate past teammate of Asamoah is very clear in his mind the 28-time Italian champions are obvious front-runners in the Serie-A fight with also the acquisition of Mauricio Isla.

“Juventus are the favourites for the Scudetto race, as they have an extra gear compared to Inter, Milan and I’d also add Napoli after a good transfer strategy,” he said.

“Don’t forget Juve have that something more with Asamoah and Isla now.”

Juventus will open their title defence on August 25 with a home game against Parma.
