The Spanish tax agency brought a case against Diego Costa over failure to fully pay his taxes after leaving Atletico Madrid for Chelsea in 2014.
On Thursday, Costa reconsidered his initial stance and pled guilty to a charge and reached an agreement to pay a fine in addition to the amount that was unpaid at the time.
As such, there will be no prison sentence for the player.
