Roma boss Jose Mourinho took advantage of the Giallorossi's trip to play Napoli to pay tribute to Diego Maradona, as he placed a bouquet of flowers on the mural dedicated to the former Napoli star.
The Portuguese coach also met Maradona's son, Diego Maradona Junior, who uploaded a photo with the coach accompanied by an emotive message on his social media.
"We hugged each other and we were moved remembering dad," he wrote.
"Jose Mourinho, a faithful and loyal friend of Diego and then of Maradona, a friend through thick and thin! I love you as much as you loved dad."
Roma snatched a 1-1 draw away at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona courtesy of a goal scored by Stephan El Shaarawy in the 91st minute.
