Disqualified Ghana FA aspirant Neil Amstrong eyes Mine Stars CEO post

Neil Armstrong Mortagbe is eyeing the top job at second-tier side Mine Stars, according to reports in the local media.

Mortagbe, a Fifa Marketing Consultant, was disqualified from the Ghana Football Association presidential race last month over irregularities on his nomination form.

He quit his post as treasurer of the Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) to challenge re-elected Kwesi Nyantakyi in the hotly debated FA presidential elections.

A move to the Tarkwa-based will enhance his future ambitions of becoming a Ghana FA president
