Division One club Yegoala FC gets sponsorship boost

Radico Khaitan Limited have unveiled a sponsorship deal with Division One club Yegoala FC worth GHC 10,000.00.

The package was announced at a brief ceremony held at the Yegoala Hotel in Kumasi where company executives, club officials, players and fans were in attendance.

The company, producers of 8pm alcoholic drink have also pledged financial support to the team for the second round of the yet to commence Division One League.

The partnership according to the West Africa representative and sales manager of Radico, Vinod Kumar Srivastav is to afford the Kumasi-based club the “financial muscle to unearth more talent while pursuing its agenda of Premier League qualification.”

He also hopes the gesture will blaze the trend for the influx of more co-operate support for the club ahead of its quest for top flight football and FA Cup glory.

Yegoala FC has been in existence for just two years, during which time it qualified for the Division One League from Division Two in 2011 and with ex Ghana striker Tony Yeboah being its chairman.
