Division One League: Dreams FC appoint Karim Zito as acting manager until end of season

Dreams FC have appointed Karim Zito as acting manager, replacing CK Akunnor who has joined Premier League side AshantiGold.

Zito, who has been in-charge of club's youth side Still Believe FC, takes charge until the end of the Division One League season.

A statement signed by the club's administrative manager Ameenu Shardow read: ''Dreams Football Club wishes to announce to its fans and the general public the appointment of Abdul Karim Zito as acting manager of the first team (Stage One).

''Mr. Zito, a former Ghana international who is currently the assistant coach of Ghana's Olympic team takes over from Charles K. Akonnor who has since departed for AshantiGold SC.

''The former Asante Kotoko coach will head the technical team of the first team (Stage One) until the end of the season.

''Zito prior to his appointment was working as the manager of the youth team Still Believe FC (Stage Two).

''The board and management wishes to congratulate Mr. Zito on his elevation and to assure him of maximum support in his new role.''
