Dr KK Sarpong to visit Kotoko players this morning ahead of Algeria departure

Kotoko’s Executive Chairman Dr Kofi Kodua Sarpong will visit the team on Monday morning ahead of their departure to Algeria.

Dr Sarpong will be accompanied by former coach Maxwell Konadu as well as International Relations Manager Kwame Baah Nuako.

The former Director of the Tema Oil Refinery will offer his support to the team ahead of the first leg of their CAF Champions League tie against Algerian side JSM Béjaïa on Friday.

The Porcupine Warriors will leave Accra this afternoon (14: 20) enroute to Cairo.

The Ghanaian champions recorded a comprehensive 8-0 aggregate win over Sony Nguema in their last encounter and will fancy their chances against the North African side.

Kick-off is 15 hrs GMT (3pm Ghana time)
