Asante Kotoko Executive Director Dr. Kwame Kyei gave his players both barrels in a meeting after their ignominious MTN FA Cup exit.

The Porcupine Warriors suffered a 2-1 defeat to Division One League side Asokwa Deportivo at the Len Clay Stadium in Obuasi on Sunday.

This follows the team's 1-0 defeat at Aduana Stars in midweek which hogged the headlines for all the wrong reasons after head coach Maxwell Konadu decided to start with ten players due to superstition.

Dr Kyei is struggling to come to terms with the team's recent slump in form.

''You guys can not go and play ''mo nkwasia'' [nonsense] ball and I will become the subject of insults afterwards, from coach to all of you, if you can not do the job just leave,''  Kyei said.

''Camarat (owner of Asokwa Deportivo) doesn't give his players 100 cedis. He buys porridge and they all share to eat. That's their only motivation to play.

''Then you allow these small boys to beat you and you call yourself professionals."
