Former Black Stars skipper and now head coach of Dreams FC, C.K. Akonnor has disclosed that his players are psyched to expect more Asante Kotoko fans at the Theatre of Dreams on Wednesday.
According to him, Asante Kotoko is a traditional household club which has massive support everywhere in the country including Dawu.
He therefore insists that it is better to inform the plyers of what to expect so that they can massage the situation.
“I have already psyched my boys to expect more Kotoko fans on Sunday. We are playing our home matches at Dawu but we admit Kotoko have more fans here than us,”, he told GHANAsoccernet.com
“If we look at the background of the opponents, we have to respect them in terms of their fan base here in Dawu.
So we see it as an important thing to tell the players not to expect a lot from the fans on Sunday,” he added.
Dreams FC have played three home matches with two wins and a draw so far in the season and are hoping to make the wounded Porcupine Warriors their next victims.
