Midfielder Emmanuel Hayford has apologized to the club and the teaming fans for his unsporting behaviour that led to his sending off in the game against Inter Allies

The former Accra Hearts of Oak player was sent off by referee Yaw Ametepe after emotionally retaliating to a cynical challenge on captain Abdul Bashiru by an Inter Allies FC player.

Hayford lost his cool and had a scuffle with Lord Ofosuhene of Allies with both players taking an early shower with about 15 minutes to end the game.

“Words will never be enough to express how regretful I am for being rude in our game last Sunday. I understand I let the management, the technical team, the playing body and the supporters down which shouldn't have happened,” Emmanuel Hayford told dreamsfc.com

"I am pleading to you all with much love and respect to find a place in your heart to forgive me because am really sorry and it won't happen again."

The combative midfielder who has been key to the club’s smooth start to the season is to miss Sunday's home game against Wa All stars.

Dreams FC occupies the third spot on the three-week old premier league table with 7 points and continues to remain as one of the three unbeaten sides in the competition.

Lawson Bekui grabbed a brace in his first premier league start for the club before Evans Mensah and Prince Baffoe scored for Inter Allies to push the game to a pulsating 2-2 draw.
