Dutch-born Ghanaian striker Elvis Manu met Ghana FA boss Kwesi Nyantakyi on Wednesday over issues bordering on his imminent nationality switch.

The 21-year-old who plays for Eredivise side Feyenoord held a similar meeting with Black Stars coach Avram Grant during his brief holiday in his native country.

Manu assured the Ghanaian FA leader of intensifying paperwork to complete his nationality switch to represent the Africans at the international level.

The powerful forward has expressed interest to play for Ghana at senior level having featured in the junior ranks for the Dutch national team.

Manu can however only play for the Black Stars once a nationality switch is completed by the Ghana FA.

The process will be put in full motion once coach Avram Grant confirms his interest in the former Excelsior loanee.

Manu scored seven times in 27 league appearances for Feyenoord in a campaign that was blighted by injuries.
