Dutch legends question Arsenal, Chelsea scramble for Ajax kid Riechedly Bazoer

The Premier League scramble for Ajax youngster Riechedly Bazoer has been questioned in Holland.

Arsenal and Manchester City are chasing the teen, while Chelsea have held talks with Bazoer's management.

The midfielder has been likened to Frank Rijkaard, but former Dutch star Jan Mulder has questioned the hype.

"He is not Rensenbrink or Van Basten. I love the attackers more. Johan Neeskens was an exception. An exceptional player, as a midfielder he'd score fifteen goals a season," says Mulder.

Former Ajax coach Co Adriaanse says it's too soon for Bazoer to leave for England.

"He has to stay at Ajax for another two years," he said on Studio Voetbal. "At Ajax he always plays, in the Premier League probably not. "
