Fans of Ebusua Dwarfs have threatened to drag the Ghana Federation to court if their 12-match home ban is not reversed.

The Cape-Coast based side was hit the heavy punishment following an attack on match officials, journalist and security men during their Premier League 1-0 home defeat against Aduana Stars last month.

Referee Patrick Kyeremanteng and his two assistants were severely beaten by irate fans for his perceived bias towards the club.

They accused him of disallowing what seemed a perfect equalizer and charged on him and his two assistants after game by beating the ‘hell’ out of them.

They also attacked two journalists including a Premier League Board designated cameraman and the scores of police men deployed at the Robert Mensah stadium.

The Ghana Federation closed down the venue on security grounds.

Their fans believe they have been given a raw deal and will head to court if the Disciplinary committee ruling is not overturn.

“This is a deliberate ploy some members of the FA to ensure we’re relegated. But we’re going to fight till the end,” Patron of the supporters group, Souleman Mohammed said.

“What our supporters did was unacceptable, but is that ay to punish us. Punishments are meant to reform people not to destroy them.

“Some people just want to see Dwarfs relegated but that will not happen. We will go to court if the decision is not changed. This is too much and our people can’t take it anymore,”
