Ebusua Dwarfs will take Nania FC's place for the novelty Glo G8 competition ahead of the big kick off on Saturday, GHALCA has confirmed.

The change was necessitated following the FA Cup winner's decision to withdraw from the competition earlier on Thursday.

The change also makes nonsense the idea to include the Division One club to the off-season tourney which was originally fixed for the top four clubs in the Premier League.

In fact, it is the inclusion of Nania FC that called for the extension of participating clubs, to six and eventually eight in the organizers bid to avoid redundancy in fixtures.

The maiden edition of the metamorphosed tourney has suffered numerous setbacks, with the withdrawal of giants, Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak one of the major problems to have hit the competition.

11th placed Ebusua Dwarfs who have always expressed their willingness to play the competition, perhaps because of its lucrative nature will now benefit from the unexpected pullout of Nania who by the way were expected to pull crowd due to their beautiful brand of football.

Match schedules and their corresponding venues however remains unchanged.

Clubs to participate in the month-long tourney now includes; Berekum Chelsea, AshantiGold, Medeama and Aduana Stars.

The rest are Liberty Professionals, Heart of Lions, New Edubiase and Ebusua Dwarfs.
