Zurich: The East Asian Football Federation (EAFF) held a delegates meeting on Thursday to discuss the topic of the FIFA Presidency Election planned to be held during Friday’s FIFA Extraordinary Congress in Zurich.
In the meeting, the EAFF unanimously agreed to endorse Shaikh Salman bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa (Bahrain) as the candidate to support for the FIFA President in the election.
The EAFF and its ten Member Associations wished Shaikh Salman bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa success in the election and noted that it will continue to work closely with the new FIFA leadership for a brighter future for both global and Asian football.
