Ebenezer Assifuah scored his first ever goal for FC Sion

Ghana youth international striker Ebenezer Assifuah scored his debut goal at FC Sion after producing a fine strike in their U21's 2-2 stalemate FC Nyonais in the Swiss Reserves League on Wednesday.

The 19-year-old opened the scoring for the reserves to register his first ever goal in Sion colours rattling the root of the net with a powerful strike.

He was replaced after the break.

Assifuah, winner of the 2013 FIFA U20 World Cup Golden Shoe award, joined Sion from Ghana Premier League side Liberty Professionals after his exploits in at the U20 World Cup and has already marked his debut for the Sion senior team.

During the weekend, he came off the bench to set up a goal for the senior side as they hammered Sursee 3-1 to advance to the next stage of the Swiss League Cup.
