Ebusua Dwarfs striker Richard Gadze earns coach's praise

Ebusua Dwarfs coach Professor J.K Mintah has hailed striker Richard Gadze – describing him as one of the best in the Ghanaian top flight.

The 18-year-old scored and set up the other in Dwarfs’2-1 win over All Stars on Sunday.

The ex UniStars hitman has churned out consistent performances in recent games for the Cape Coast side.

He has now drawn the praise of his coach after another excellent display to help the Mysterious club secure a come-from-behind win at the Robert Mensah Stadium.

“He (Gadze) is a young player I recruited from a Division Two club and so far I think he is one of the best strikers we have in the country,” Prof. Mintah said.

“People will be looking at the goals a player has scored to determine whether he is a good striker or not but if you do that you will be making a big mistake.

“You look at the player’s overall contribution, how he takes on players, his aerial ability and even passes and so far he is doing that.

“He is not even at his peak yet but he is young and I think he has a bright future ahead.”

Gadze has scored four goals so far this season in the Ghanaian top flight.
