Ebusua Dwarfs striker Nicholas Gyan becomes first player to score at new Cape Coast stadium
Ebusua Dwarfs striker Nicholas Gyan chalked a piece of history by becoming the first player to score a goal at the new Cape Coast Stadium on Tuesday.
Gyan opened the scoring as his side drew 1-1 with bitterest rivals Venomous Vipers in a curtain raiser.
Later in the day, Ghana's U20 side went on to draw 2-2 with China's U19 side in a high profile friendly.
The ultra-modern 16,000 capacity constructed by the Chinese government was commissioned by Ghana President John Mahama.
