CSKA Sofia midfielder Edwin Gyasi says their performance towards the end of their 2-1 win over Botev Vratsa was not the best.

The Ghanaian wideman fetched the opener for the Army-men with only three minutes after recess before Gambian forward Ali Sowe doubled their advantage with a bullet strike on the 56th minute.

With ten minutes to end proceedings, Botev came into the game stronger and deservedly pulled a goal back through Emil Stoev before threatening to score a second goal in the dying embers but Sofia held on to record their first win since the league returned from the winter break.

"We controlled the game for the first 80 minutes, but in the last 10 we pulled back, this opened the chances for the rival, and after the first goal we had to kill the intrigue, we scored a second goal but I think we had to do more and solve everything "We're still in the process of building," Gyasi said.

Gyasi has scored 4 goals in 19 Bulgarian top-flight league appearances for the side as they held on to their 2nd position on the standings.
