Egypt Under-20 coach Rabiea Yassin is furious at the manner European scouts have invaded the team’s camp in the ongoing African Youth Championship in Algeria.

The Young Pharaohs have impressed heavily at the tournament where they have recorded two wins over Ghana and host Algeria to secure qualification to the semi-finals and the World Cup in Turkey.

Their trainer has been unhappy with the way scouts from European countries have flooded his team’s camp in pursuit of his players.

“They are everywhere we go and they have contacted both the players agents and the players distracting them from preparations for the knock out stage." Yassin told supersport.com.

" I can’t accept this from them. Why can they not be professional and wait till the end of the tournament and then talk with them"

“We want to win our third match against Benin and see with who will play our next match in the semifinal. I think we will play against Nigeria and that will be a very tough game so we need to work on the pitch and stay very focused".

Egypt will take on Benin in their last group A game on Friday.
