EL/ INTER MILAN, D\'Ambrosio: \"We are very disappointed for this defeat\"

Published on: 16 September 2016

Inter Milan full-back Danilo D’Ambrosio spoke after the loss to Hapoel Beer-Sheva at San Siro in the first game of Europa League group stage tonight.

“We did not say anything in the changing room after the game, we are very disappointed for this defeat but we have to prepare ourselves for the next game against Juventus, which is a very important clash” D’Ambrosio told us in the mixed zone.

“In the first half we controlled the game but we had to be more cynical to win the game, anyway we didn’t do it and when you are still 0-0 in the second half it’s normal that your opponent comes out”.

“In these competitions you pay the price for your mistakes and this is the reason why we lost tonight, anyway we did not underrate Hapoel - the Italian added - as I told you we were in control of the game in the first half”.

Speaking about his new manager Frank De Boer, D’Ambrosio ended: “He has his own ideas about football and we have to learn them as soon as possible, despite we are going to play every three days until December”

“A message for our fans? I have nothing to say, the team always try to put heart and passion in each game, even in the defeats”.
