Eleven Wonders head coach Ignatius Osei Fosu is set to deploy a tactic to prevent Hearts of Oak star Salifu Ibrahim from performing against his former side.

Salifu will be playing against his Eleven Wonders for the first time this season as the two teams clash at the Ohene Ameyaw Park on Friday afternoon.

The 21-year-old was a key player for Coach Osei Fosu during his stint with the club winning multiple Ghana Premier League Man of the Match awards.

Coach Osei Fosu has advised Hearts of Oak to bench their influential player because he will be stopped.

“I know Salifu Ibrahim than any other player”

"He will not get the chance to play his best in our game against Hearts of Oak,”

“I will advise Hearts not to use Salifu Ibrahim ‘Di Maria’ because he can’t play. We know him too much”, he told Kumasi-based Pure FM.

“The best plan for them is not to use him. Salifu will be substituted on the 60th-minute mark if he plays”

“Eleven Wonders have been able to stop any dangerous player in the Ghana Premier League. We only need the 11 v 11 with the only support from both coaches.”

Salifu Ibrahim will be available to play the game for Hearts of Oak, GHANAsoccernet.com has gathered.

Reports had suggested that the talented midfielder was set to miss the game because of the clause in his contract.

Hearts of Oak will be hoping to get a win in the game to go top of the Ghana Premier League.
