Hearts of Oak is expected to announce the signing of top transfer target Ibrahim Salifu in the coming hours, according to sources.
The 20-year old arrived in the capital on Friday to finalize his move to the Ghana Premier League giants after undergoing medicals.
Ibrahim is expected to sign a three-year contract with the Phobians.
Reports in the media indicate Ibrahim nicknamed “Di Maria” will receive Ghc 3,500 as monthly salary.
Salifu trained with the team for the first time on Friday ahead of the official announcement to be done by the club.
The talented winger is also on the radar of Medeama Sporting Club who are trying to gazump the Phobians and sign the youngster.
The Mauve and Yellow are in race to the snatch the midfielder from Hearts of Oak at the last hour as officials of the club have made contact with his representatives.
Salifu earned four consecutive Man of the Match Awards during the start of the season.
