Elmina Sharks coach Yaw Acheampong has taken aim at his goalkeeper Joshua Opoku for their 3-3 draw at Bechem United in week 11 of the Ghana Premier League on Wednesday.

The Elmina-based side were in terrific form in the first stanza of their game against Bechem United in midweek at the Nana Gyeabour Park.

Trickey winger Benjamin Tweneboah scored a brace with Felix Addo scoring the other to put the Sharks three goals up before 6o minutes but a Hafiz Konkoni inspired late finish saw Bechem United crawl back to level 3-3.

Meanwhile, Sharks were left to play the final 30 minutes with a man down when Emmanuel Ampiah was red carded.

“After the red card, everything was messed up. Myself, I couldn’t believe what I saw. I was disappointed in the last 15 minutes especially after the red card,” Yaw Acheampong told journalists after the game.

“I think our goalkeeper let us done. He could have come out to clear all goals we conceded and I didn’t know what he was doing in the goal post.” he added.

Sharks are having a very good season and sit 6th on the Premier League table with 16 points.

The team will return to Elmina, where they host League leaders Ashantigold on Sunday.
