Ghana forward Emmanuel Boateng is delighted after making injury return for Dalian Pro in the 2-0 loss against Tianjin Teda in the Chinese Super League on Tuesday.
Boateng had been nursing an injury for the past month.
The 24-year-old consequently missed Dalian Pro’s games against Guangzhou Evergrande and the pair of meetings against Shijiazhuang.
He was named in the side’s starting lineup for the encounter against Tianjin Teda on Tuesday.
Boateng played the entire duration but couldn’t do much as his team were defeated 2-0 courtesy a brace from Frank Acheampong.
The Ghana international took to social media after the game to express his joy.
