Winger Emmanuel Gyamfi has extended his contract at Asante Kotoko for another year.

The 26-year-old signed a new deal after a fruitful negotiation with the Ghanaian giants.

The Kotoko vice-captain has been in good form since the start of the second round, scoring three goals since the resumption of the league.

However, he missed the 1-1 draw against Liberty due to contract talks.

Hos return is huge boost for coach Mariano Baretto as the Porcupine Warriors set sights on the league.

Emmanuel Gyamfi joined Asante Kotoko in 2015, helping the club win the FA Cup in 2017 and the Normalisation Cup in 2018.

He has since been an integral member of the club.
