In-form Ghanaian forward Emmanuel Gyasi has climbed to the summit of player affirmations at Serie B side Spezia Calcio following his impressive performance against Pisa on Monday.
The Palermo born Ghanaian attacker has been in scintillating form for the Eagles this season, netting his seventh goal of the season despite defeat to Pisa.
The pacy forward, who was playing from the left side of attack benefited from an Antonini Ragusa assist to smash in the opener. But Spezia failed to hold onto the lead as they lost 2-1 at home.
Despite the defeat, the 26-year old earned the praises of manager Vincenzo Italiano following his man of the match performance.
The winger was a threat upfront and also contributed significantly defensively, an aspect of his game that has improved tremendously.
Gyasi is also enjoying his prolific campaign in the serie B, having scored seven times and created five goals with the club still hunt for a serie A promotion.
His performances has not only impressed the Stadio Alberto Picco faithfuls but has also attracted interests from clubs abroad, most notably from country's in some of Europe's elite leagues.
