Emmanuel Gyasi marks 100th appearance for Spezia in loss at Juventus

Ghanaian forward Emmanuel Gyasi played his 100th game for Spezia Calcio during their 3-0 defeat against Juventus in midweek.

Gyasi has finally found his suitable abode in Liguria after enduring a sketchy start to life at the club.

The 27-year-old joined the Eagles from Torino in 2016 following loan spells at Pisa, Mantova and Carrarese.

The Palermo-born hitman secured a move to the Stadio Alberto Picco in 2016 and has never looked back since returning from a loan stint at U.S Pistoiese in 2017.

The Ghanaian attacker has chalked ninety-nine (99) appearances in the club’s shirt before their Wednesday’s game against champions Juventus at the Allianz Arena.

Gyasi played his heart out for Vincenzo Italiano’s men but couldn’t do much to prevent his team from losing 3-0.

In the wake of the encounter, Gyasi was presented with a Bianconeri shirt from his idol Cristiano Ronaldo.

Gyasi has played 25 times for Spezia, scoring 4 goals and adding 4 assists to his credit.
