​England announce arrangements for summer friendlies

England will play summer friendlies against Turkey and Portugal as part of their preparations for Euro 2016.

The Three Lions will meet Turkey at Manchester City's Etihad Stadium on Sunday, 22 May, before facing Portugal at Wembley on Thursday, 2 June.

It has also been announced the game against Australia will be played in Sunderland on Friday, 27 May.

"I'm happy we have secured three challenging opponents," said boss Roy Hodgson, who requested games away from Wembley.
