Mainly negotiating with Ramy Abbas, who had already acted as a middleman between AS Roma and Chelsea in Mohamed Salah's trade, Giallorossi chief executive Walter Sabatini is in talks with Blues regarding the forthcoming future of Belgian international midfielder Radja Nainggolan (who turned 28 years old just yesterday), whom English giants want to sign, due to next manager Antonio Conte's suggestion. While Italian club aren't moving below their initial 40 million euros request for his ownership, the player is doubtful whether to end up leaving: his perplexities are mostly bound to possibly experiencing some troubles in becoming a regular starter and, on a more general level, in succeeding in giving his best in a new environment, possibly losing the key-player status he gained in a short time at AS Roma. Currently on a deal with Serie A titans until June 2020 and playing for them since the second half of 2013/14, Indonesian-descented midfielder's annual salary amounts to 1.8 million euros, and will be probably raised before next season, regardless of him staying put or moving.
