English side MK Dons donate kit to disadvantaged children in Ghana

It’s not just supporters inside Stadium MK who are 'donning the shirt' with pride.

Pictured above is Michael, a member of the New Life Football Club in Ghana – a side set-up by Akwaaba Volunteers who are helping to brighten the futures of disadvantaged children across Ghana by giving them access to sports and education.

MK Dons Football Club have donated replica kit to the children of New Life Football Club to wear during matches and training.

Akwaaba Volunteers’ Jordan Palmer said: “A huge thank you to MK Dons from everyone at Akwaaba Volunteers in Ghana for providing this kit, which the children love.

“It will be used as motivation for the boys to do well in school as well as on the pitch.”
