English side Swansea have rejected reports that they are on the verge of sealing a deal to sign Ghana defender Isaac Vorsah.

Reports in the German media had suggested that chairman Huw Jenkins was to meet with representatives of the 23-year-old Hoffenheim player.

German TV station Deutsche Welle reported officials of Hoffenheim and Swansea were scheduled to meet on Monday to conclude a deal.

The English side have played down the speculation linking them with a move for Ghana defender Isaac Vorsah.

But Jenkins said: "Swansea City would like to confirm that there is no truth in this rumour."

The ex-Asante Kotoko defender has been phenomenal for the German outfit with his sublime performances earning massive interest from top European side.

Meanwhile fellow Bundesliga club Borussia Monchengladbach is reported to be monitoring the situation.
